We ship all items Australia-wide, including large furniture pieces. In most cases we offer shipping based on the size of the item and your location. Delivery prices are calculated at the time of purchase and will be displayed during the checkout process. We offer weight-based delivery services for all orders within Australia. Purchase of multiple
items may place your delivery cost into next weight bracket. 

The final cost of your delivery is stated at checkout and is determined by your location and weight. We reserve the right to quote on any orders that we consider to be remote even after the order has been placed. Please contact us if there is any confusion.

We also offer $25 express shipping (2–4 days) to metro areas.

Certain products are too large for standard shipping, such as sideboards and dining tables. For these orders, please see indicative delivery pricing below:

Regional
Certain parts of Australia can unfortunately be tricky and expensive to ship to, so we may need to quote additional delivery fees on bulky items. If this is you, then please email us at hello@maderupert.com for a quote.

You are welcome to arrange a pick-up of your order. Depending on the item, you can collect from our office in Collingwood, Melbourne, or directly from the maker. Please send us an email and we can make arrangements that work for you.

Although you are not able to purchase items for international delivery through our website, if you live outside of Australia and have your eye on something, please get in touch via hello@maderupert.com so we can get some delivery quotes for you. International sales will be invoiced through email, and can be paid via bank transfer.

We aim to only work with delivery companies who specialise in large, heavy or fragile goods to ensure that your special item arrives safely and with care. Having said this, if your order is damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately with images of the damage, so that we can organise either a repair or replacement.

Unfortunately delays during shipping can occasionally happen and are out of our control. In the instance where there is a delay during transit, will we do our best to keep you informed of any updates to the best of our knowledge. Made Rupert will not be held accountable for missing orders or order arrivals at the wrong location due to an incorrectly supplied delivery address.

Where possible we recycle packaging, so don't be surprised if your parcel comes in an odd box! We think it's more important to recycle than buy new packaging unnecessarily. We also recycle packaging materials from items we receive and use these to pad your fragile items.

For smaller items, we may use our compostable tissue wrap and recyclable stickers made on acid free paper.

Made Rupert does not offer returns for change of mind. If you do change your mind we may offer a credit note or exchange once the Goods are returned in original condition within 7 days (only applicable to full-priced items. Discounted or made-to-order products excluded). Return of the item for exchange would be at the expense of the customer.

If you receive the wrong item, or a faulty or damaged product please let us know straight away. Faulty items can be returned for a full refund including the delivery fee. Please see our Warranty details below for further information regarding faults and defects.

Once your returned faulty item has been returned to us, we will process your refund within 7 days. Your refund may take a few days to appear back in your account depending on your bank.

We only work with products that are designed and made with longevity in mind. If you do however find any manufacturing faults or defects, we offer a two year warranty from the date of order.

This warranty guarantee does not cover:

— Any breakage caused by negligent and/or improper use of the goods.
— Normal wear and tear including dents and scratches.
— Any damage caused by lack of maintenance or due to an accident or force.
— Degradation of finish caused by environmental factors such as sun, humidity, or water damage.

Any surface abrasions/dents or damage will not be covered if they were not reported immediately upon arrival of your purchase (within 2 days of receiving the item/s). Please note images of the issue will be requested to move forward with a warranty claim. If any alterations are made to the product, your warranty will be voided.
